 Video Information for Weddings, Corporate Events and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs

        Video of your wedding requires state-of-the-art professional equipment.  A good videographer has years of experience.  A professional knows the ins and outs of his equipment.  They must know the itinerary of the wedding day as it unfolds.  Important situations happen -- planned and spontaneously.  In a split second, an important moment can be missed.
         Keep in mind, even something as simple as having the right amount of battery power is important.  There can be situations where back lighting may close down the video camera shutter.
         A typical wedding can last eight hours or more.  Many times, we have observed guests who are videoing tiring after 5 minutes, maybe 20 minutes, before they put the camera down.  Amateur videographers also get in the way of  important shots the photographer must take to make your photos complete.  For example:
                                               1)  Getting out of limousine
                                               2)  Procession into ceremony
                                               3)  Ring exchange
                                               4)  Leaving ceremony
                                               5)  Entrance at reception hall, etc.
         It is important to discuss the events of the day with the Studio.  If special events will be occurring, provide a list.  For example, getting ready shots; special readings or songs you want captured during ceremony; important people you want interviewed -- parents, bridal party, etc.  In addition, many couples want a less obtrusive videographer.  Discuss this in advance with the Studio.  Maybe you do not want interviews and you want the videographer more on the sidelines.

 

                                      EDITING YOUR VIDEO (See attached information)

         Collect 5 pictures of each of you growing up and 5 dating pictures (total of 15 pictures) which will be used for the opening montage, along with a song of your choice.  The wedding video will also include a beautiful wedding animation which includes your name and the date of the wedding.  The finished video will be provided on a DVD with chapter points.  The chapters allow the user to go instantly to various parts of the DVD.  For instance, chapters can include:  getting ready, ceremony, formals at park, cocktail hour, reception entrance, toast, cake cutting, bouquet and garter tossing, parent dances, good bye, etc.
         All videos are edited with artistic flair appropriate for the occasion by our experienced editors using the latest in digital technology.  Beautiful transitions and effects are placed within the video to enhance the comprehensive footage shot by the videographer.  In the Deluxe Full Edit Video up to 5 songs are added in the following locations:  opening montage, arrival at ceremony, receiving line and/or formal photographs, cocktail hour, recap.  We also provide a Partial Edit Video which includes an introduction with title, opening montage of pictures and music, and may include chapters as well.  The footage is reviewed by the editors and transferred onto DVD.  All videos are personalized and presented in a beautiful library case.
