At the Bar/Bat Mitzvah DJ playing music. Professional Photographers taking all
the important candid photos--entrance, bread blessing, candle lighting and dancing.
The excitement is contagious. Observe the excitement and the thrill of the day. Look
at the expressions on the faces of friends and family. Raising the family up on the chair
is a favorite to honor the immediate family at a Jewish affair, Bar/Bat Mitzvah or
wedding. The young friends are all there. Group photo is a must. At these events
there are great photographic opportunities.

the woman of the hour at her bat mitzvah!

Action candid photos of Bat Mitzvah event.
This girl's feet have not touched the ground once!

More action candid photography up on the chair will make
a great candid shot to put into the album as a great memory.

Throw a happy lady and a great photographer and what
do you have? A great time, that's what!

Portraits at Temple Ceremony are great  to get.
Many different poses will be taken by the Professional

More family portraits; the boy smiling with his

anymore than they can on this special day!

Photographing a Great Bar New York Bar/Bat Mitzvah: What Parents and Photographers Alike Should Expect

  • Many of the most winning shots are of the boy/girl reading from the Torah in his/her new Tallit. Should the parents want their photographer to shoot poses of them before the Arc, they may have to schedule it before the event unfolds.
  • Shots taken prior to the service are supposed to depict the sacred events to come...in the eyes and lenses of most New York photographers, these pre-service shots are the most important ones. Photographers should do their best to recreate these events. The rabbi's blessings are versatile, taking many different forms; both an integral and photograph-worthy part of this sanctified Jewish event. Continue on Bar/Bat Mitzvah Event Page

Here he is...the New York bat mitzvah man of the hour!

candid shot of the ritualistic and sacred bread-cutting
